Polly is a Licensed Mental Health counselor with more than 15 years of experience providing a culturally responsive approach while adapting treatment strategies to meet the needs of clients from varied backgrounds, identities, and lived experiences. Her priority is to create a safe place and a collaborative relationship to make positive changes. Polly’s style of therapy is best described as a unique blend of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Rogerian, and Solution-Focused. She currently focuses on adult and elderly populations both in-person or virtually.

Her specialties include depression, anxiety, trauma, PTSD, stress and anger management, problem solving, conflict resolution, coping skills, self-confidence, family and relationship issues, divorce, parenting concerns, grief and loss, sexuality and gender issues, aging, medical problems, and substance abuse. She has extensive experience working with active duty and veterans with transitional issues from deployment to civilian life.

In her leisure time, she enjoys being outdoors, going to the beach, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. She is an animal lover and believes having a pet can be therapeutic, helping people live happier, healthier, and more fulfilling lives.
